Assisted Living Care
The Carillon Commitment to our Residents...
At Carillon, our residents' well-being and happiness is our number
one priority. They deserve the most courteous and attentive treatment
we can give them. We will always offer quality care to our residents.
Our residents are alway treated with respect and dignity. We strive
to make each person feel special and genuinely appreciated. Our goal
is to make every resident glad they chose Carillon, and to give them
the highest quality of life.
We continually challenge ourselves at Carillon to do better in all
aspects of creating an atmosphere that residents can truly call “home.”
What separates us from our competition is the consistent intensity
with which we pursue our goal of providing quality care for each and
every resident. We achieve excellence by attention to detail and a
commitment to our core mission.

The Carillon Cornerstones are the foundation around which
Carillon's care and service are centered:
Resident Care
-
The Executive Director initiates contact with the
family member and/or responsible party at least once every 30 days
through a telephone call that may be followed by a written note/letter
or a scheduled meeting if necessary.
-
The Resident Care Director conducts a care planning
session with each resident and/or family member quarterly.
-
Department managers visit every resident during
the week of admission to complete a New Resident Move-In Assessment
and to give the new resident information about each department’s
services.
-
A resident exercise program is held most mornings.
-
Carillon's Activities Program is implemented and
overseen by the Activities Director and Garden Place Coordinator.
A varied calendar includes volunteer-led programs, both inside and
outside the community, and an after dinner activity seven days a
week.
-
Each resident is assigned a Move-In Buddy (resident)
to enjoy meals with, attend activities and generally introduce to
the amenities of the facility.
-
Family night is held once monthly. Entertainment
and food are usually tailored to a seasonal theme.
-
Garden Place Gang is the dementia unit support
group for family/friends/volunteers held monthly to plan special
activities.
-
Social and civic groups are invited to utilize
the facility so residents can participate in or observe outside
community life.
-
Ice Cream Socials are held during warm months.
-
Adopt a Grandparent program and other youth-senior
programs.
-
A family album displaying photographs from the
resident’s activities is kept up to date in a visible place
for all to view.
-
A Community Information Board is located so that
everyone can note current activities, community information, the
monthly calendar, birthdays, new move-ins, as well as see the monthly
activity calendar. This board is decorated monthly according to
the season.
-
Rocking chairs and front porch areas are maintained
and inviting for residents and visitors.
-
A gardening area is maintained in both the Assisted
Living and Alzheimer’s areas of the community.
-
The residents in both the Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s
components of the community prepare fresh bread and cookies each
week.
-
Pets are encouraged in our home.
-
Meals are served in a fine dining atmosphere using
linens, china and stemware.
-
A daily menu is posted outside of the dining room
with the day’s menus.
-
The dining room beverage station and Country Kitchen
are always available so that residents may enjoy snacks and juice
at any time. Appropriate snacks and beverages are always available.
-
The Executive Director visits the dining room daily
assisting in the servicing of beverages therefore having an opportunity
to interact with residents on a daily basis and to ensure that the
quality of the dining experience is maintained.
-
Music, reflecting the era or interests of the residents,
is played in the dining room during meals.
