Fuquay Varina Jazz and Juleps Event to Raise Funds for Children’s Park

Carillon_JazzAndJuleps_11x6_frontCarillon Assisted Living of Fuquay-Varina will host a Southern themed event, Jazz and Juleps On the Terrace, to raise funds for a train caboose at the Fuquay-Varina Museum Park.

Carillon of Fuquay-Varina invites guests to enjoy live jazz, mint juleps and hors d’oeuvres on its rose-filled trellis patio on Saturday, April 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The senior assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community is located at 6516 Johnson Pond Road.

Guests should “dress to impress” and bring the family for an afternoon of fun, frivolity and community fundraising to benefit the park adjacent to the Fuquay-Varina Museums Complex. The complex is made up of three museums: The First Fuquay Post Office, the “Squire” Ballentine Schoolhouse, and the Centennial Museum. Admission to each museum is free to the public.

Donations from the Jazz and Juleps on the Terrace On the Terrace event will provide funding for a railroad train caboose for the museum park. Donation levels of $25, $50 and $100 are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Carillon will host similar Jazz and Juleps fundraisers at each of its 17 senior communities statewide. These signature fundraising events help Carillon fulfill its mission to be a trusted community partner everywhere that Carillon operates an assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community. As part of that mission, Carillon creates opportunities for seniors to stay connected to the world around them – opportunities that enable older adults to keep growing, learning and making new connections of their own.
