Cramer Mountain to Host Jazz and Juleps Benefit for Stowe Botanical Gardens

Carillon Assisted Living of Cramer Mountain will host a Southern themed event, Jazz and Juleps On the Terrace, to raise funds for the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Carillon invites guests to enjoy live jazz, mint juleps and hors d’oeuvres on its rose-filled trellis patio on Saturday, May 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The senior assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community is located at 500 Cramer Mountain Road.

Guests should “dress to impress” and bring the family for an afternoon of fun, frivolity and community fundraising to benefit the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Located on 400 lush acres in Belmont, North Carolina, the gardens draw thousands of visitors annually, many of them from outside North Carolina. The gardens have become a popular eco-tourism site, in addition to serving as an outdoor classroom for educational programs and youth nature and ecology camps.

Funds will help grow and expand the gardens and exhibits at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, which is open for tours seven days a week.

Carillon will host similar Jazz and Juleps fundraisers at each of its 17 senior communities statewide. These signature fundraising events help Carillon fulfill its mission to be a trusted community partner everywhere that Carillon operates an assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community. As part of that mission, Carillon creates opportunities for seniors to stay connected to the world around them – opportunities that enable older adults to keep growing, learning and making new connections of their own.
