Join Us for Jazz & Juleps on May 4th!

Carillon is reviving the annual Jazz and Juleps events statewide on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Jazz and Juleps on the Terrace is truly a Southern springtime affair. Guests are invited to wear their best, Kentucky Derby hats included, and enjoy a live jazz ensemble while sipping on mint juleps on Carillon’s rose-filled trellis patios. In the midst of all the fun and frivolity are significant community development initiatives. In the past, the signature fundraising events raised thousands for local improvement projects – from helping rehabilitate injured sea turtles near Southport, to improving a storied theatre and playhouse in Hendersonville. This year, communities are ready to raise even more funds to help the larger community. Community partners include organizations dedicated to beautifying their communities, numerous Rotary Clubs raising funds for Alzheimer’s research and children across the area, and many arts councils committed to providing and promoting arts programs throughout the community.

At each event, Carillon and its local partners will ask for donations of $25, $50, or $100+ to support these worthwhile projects. The level of donation will determine chances to win a beautiful garden-themed gift basket. Donations will be raised both leading up to and on the day of the event, and the winner will be announced at the event itself.

Signature community events like Jazz and Juleps on the Terrace help Carillon fulfill its mission to be a trusted community partner everywhere that Carillon operates an assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community. As part of that mission, Carillon creates opportunities for seniors to stay connected to the world around them – opportunities that enable older adults to keep growing, learning and making new connections of their own.
